I have an LCD HDTV and I noticed comcast had a 3D Movie available. I watched part of it and noticed the distorted image that should make a 3d object, but when I tried my 3d glasses I seen no difference. I know it’s not a problem with my eyes since I seen 3d in theaters recently before. I just want to know if a tv needs to support it or whatever. Thanks!

I understand that ESPN will be a launching 3D programming at the start of this summer. My questions are these:
Will a regular HDTV (I have a Samsung 63 in.) be able to display 3D programming?
Will Directv carry the 3D programming?
Will we have to use those idiotic paper glasses with the red and blue lenses? Or will it be a set of glasses we’ll need more similar to the ones we used to watch Avatar?
Thanks for any responses.

Seriously, I don’t have a big collection, but do I really have to rebuy my blu rays if I want them in 3d? Or should I run out and sell them while they might be still good to sell? Also, could I take these 3d blu rays to a friends house and watch it on their normal hd tv? Or are 3dblurays permanently tied to 3d tvs?
